Dear Coalition members and colleagues,

I am excited to invite you to attend the fourth biennial JDVNC Conference from March 24-27, 2009 in Burlington, VT— “Let’s Get Connected to the Future!”.

Burlington Hilton.jpgBurlington Lake Champlain.jpgWe have a beautiful venue at the Hilton Burlington on the Lake Champlain waterfront, and first-class hosts in Keri Darling and her staff at Deaf Vermonters’ Advocacy Services.

The setting is pleasing, but what will really draw you in is the top-notch list of workshops and presenters, as well as opportunities to network with other colleagues who work with Deaf survivors of sexual and domestic violence.  Workshops will be offered for attendees at every level, focused on building the capacity of advocates, administrators, and programs/agencies.

Because of the nature of the Coalition and the topics of the workshops, attendees are required to have at least basic sexual and domestic violence advocacy training and/or experience.

If you are interested in attending but are not part of a sexual or domestic violence victims’ advocacy program, please contact me at justicedeafvictims@gmail.com .

Among these pages you will find further information on the JDVNC Conference, as well as travel and lodging information.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Keri and I are looking forward to seeing you all in March!
